Burglary Near You - Clayton Lane, Little Horton BD5

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Clayton Lane, this occurred on Sunday 10th May 0500hrs and 0507hrs and the method was attacking a lock box for mail within a residential communal hallway and removed items from same making off with them unseen.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between 0500HRS AND 0507HRS to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
